Frederique Constant, one of the shining stars of the watch world, announced its new limited-edition model equipped with tourbillon and perpetual calendar features, which are among the first things that come to mind when it comes to complications.
The new model, introduced as part of Dubai Watch Week 2023, also became the flagship of the young brand. Here are all the details about the new model that pushes the boundaries of the Highlife series, which also serves as a canvas for our latest limited-edition watch.
The new model comes with a Highlife style case designed with a diameter of 41mm and a height of 12.65mm. The case, which is made of 18K pink gold alloy specifically for the version, has sapphire crystals on the front and back. The sporty case hosts a winding crown with the FC emblem, as well as recessed pushers used to adjust the perpetual calendar functions.
The stylish model is available on a dark blue dial with a globe figure, which is the signature detail of the model family. All information about the functions of the watch can be read quickly and effortlessly from the elegant dial, where the Tri-Compax arranged counters are in harmony with the tastefully designed Tourbillon window.
Frederique Constant Highlife Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar Manufacture draws its power from the Caliber FC-975 movement, which is designed and produced entirely within the brand itself. The automatic movement, which includes a perpetual calendar function as well as a tourbillon regulator, also includes high-tech components such as a silicone escapement wheel and anchor. The movement, which oscillates at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800vph), offers a power reserve time of up to 38 hours when fully wound.
The model, which is limited to only 35 pieces, comes with a dark blue alligator nubuck strap and a rubber strap in the same tone.
The list price for the new model is CHF 44,995.
