Prospex, the model family of Seiko, the legendary name in the watch world of Japan, which redefines the standards in the diver segment, meets with the GMT feature for the first time in its history.
The models, which bring together the two indispensable elements of summer vacation such as travel and diving, combine the classic Seiko design with GMT, one of the most usable complications of all time.
The new models come with a stainless case designed with a diameter of 42mm and a height of 12.9mm. Combining the iconic design of the brand that marked 1968 with today's quality and craftsmanship standards, the front of the case features a ceramic insert diver's bezel with black and green color options, and a curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The case, which is resistant to scratches thanks to its super-hard surface coating, is waterproof up to 200 meters with the help of the screw-down crown and case back.
The dial features of three different references in the collection are as follows:
SPB381 - green dial with a matte finish, yellow GMT handle, green 24h inner flange9
SPB383 - black dial with a matte finish, yellow handle pointer, black 24h inner flange
SPB385 Save the Ocean - Ice blue ice-like texture, dark blue GMT handle, ice blue 24-hour inner flange
All models come to life with the automatic Caliber 6R54, which offers a power reserve of 72 hours.
The new models are fixed to the wrist with a bracelet made of super-hard coating steel alloy. In addition to the bracelet that allows it to be used on a diving suit thanks to the folding clasp with a diver extension, the SPB385 Save the Ocean model also comes with a strap made of recycled material.
While the SPB385 Save the Ocean model is limited to 4000 pieces only, SPB381 and SPB383 are included in the standard collection.
