Glashütte Original, one of the representatives of luxury watchmaking from the German school, adds two new dial colors to the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date model family, inspired by the 1970s.
The adventure of the model family with warm and fun colors starts with the two gradient dial versions introduced in 2019. The collection, which continues to expand with two blue dial models added in 2021, also gets a Fab Green (green) version in the past months. Standing out with its retro character, the collection today diversifies even more with two new dial colors named Golden Bay (yellow) and Ocean Breeze (blue).
The new models come with a case that is among the symbol details of the 70s with its form called TV case in watch terminology. The case, which is also designed with dimensions of 40mm x 40mm x 14.10mm, is made of stainless steel. The case, which is waterproof up to 100 meters, is accompanied by sapphire crystals on both sides, the Glashütte Original crown and large chronograph pushers.
The newly introduced Golden Bay (yellow) and Ocean Breeze (blue) dials highlight the nostalgic theme of the model family with their light pastel tones. As always, the Bi-Compax chronograph layout dials, produced by the brand's in-house dial manufacturer in Pforzheim, also feature additional functions such as the panoramic date window, 12-hour counter and power reserve indicator that are identified with the brand.
Caliber 37-02, designed and produced in-house, powers the new models. The automatic movement, which includes the integrated chronograph function with flyback, as well as the 12-hour counter, panoramic date display and power reserve indicator, offers a 70-hour power reserve when fully wound.
To complete these stylish models of the Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date, Glashütte Original offers two different strap options, a black rubber strap and a stainless-steel bracelet.
