Glashütte Original, one of the German names of luxury watchmaking, is expanding its nostalgic themed collection with a new model.
Glashütte Original Vintage Collection, inspired by the 1960s and 1970s, perhaps the most productive periods of mankind in terms of design, is on the agenda again with a new model today. The new model, added to the collection, which includes the signature details of the brand as well as its impressive presence and is acclaimed for its design that is true to its roots, stands out with its rose gold case and small second counter.
The new model comes in a 42mm diameter and 12.4mm thick 18K rose gold case. The case, which we are sure will present bold presence on the wrist with its 49.5mm lug to lug distance, does not compromise on its elegance with its fully polished finishing. The case, which is equipped with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides, needs to stay away from water due to its waterproof value limited to only 30 meters.
The slightly curved dial of the model offers an eye-catching look with its opal surface applied on a galvanized silver plate. Diamond-cut hour markers are accompanied by large numeral indices and rose gold hands. The stylish dial features a small second counter at 6 o'clock.
The elegant model is powered by the Caliber 39-60 movement. The automatic caliber, developed and produced entirely in-house, oscillates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers a power reserve time of up to 40 hours when fully wound.
The stylish model is accompanied by a green Louisiana alligator leather strap and an 18K rose gold buckle. The list price for the model offered for sale in the boutiques and authorized sales points is EUR 17,900 (including taxes).
