H. Moser & Cie., which introduced the Swiss Mad Watch as a reaction to the embarrassing point where the Swiss watch industry has became, introduced the final version of its highly praised Perpetual Calendar series.
H. Moser & Cie., which managed to make a remarkable self-expression with its brave comments about the point where the concept of "Swiss Production" came along besides its exclusive designs, introduced the newest member of its flagship product group Perpetual Calendar.
The model, which founded itself in several different versions in the brand’s catalog before, seems to have the most important facelift ever with the renewed dial and case.
Designed with a minimalist approach as always and known for its simple design, this model offers the most assertive composition in this regard with its latest version.
The new model is offered in an 18K gold case with all mirror polished surface measuring 42mm in diameter. With a thickness of 11.9mm, the case promises a very comfortable use. The case sports scratch resistant sapphire crystals on both sides. Despite the larger 42mm diameter, the case still bears the symbol design details which can be appreciated best when observed from sides; concave side lines on the lugs, a slightly domed bezel and a curved caseback.
The dial, which seems to be inspired by the Swiss Mad model launched earlier this year, features baton type hour markers and a gradient pattern which starts with black and turns in to dark blue as it approaches the center. In terms of markings, the dial provides an extremely sterile dial. The small second sub-dial at 6 o’clock position bears no indications except quarter markers. The vertical power reserve indicator does not feature any prints either. The date window is located at 3 o’clock position with a slightly rounded corner design and a date disk with white fonts over black background. The fact that the brand name is not included in the dial is taken as a detail that brings H. Moser & Cie.’s minimalist approach to some extreme dimensions.
The new model is powered with the brand’s in-house Caliber Ref. HMC 700. Manual wound movement offers an impressive 7 days power reserve along some technological innovations like a pallet fork and escape wheel made from hardened 18k gold, as well as an interchangeable escapement that can be swiftly swapped during servicing.
H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Purity is offered with a black leather strap and an 18K white gold buckle. The model will be limited to 50 units only and will be sold with a price tag of CHF 54.000,00.
