H. Moser & Cie, among the unique names of luxury watchmaking, introduced the final version of its Swiss Alp Watch.
H. Moser & Cie, one of the first names that come to mind when it comes to Swiss Watch Industry contrary brands, shocked the watch enthusiasts with its model featuring a case made of Vacherin Mont d'Or cheese, which it released in recent years. While the shocking effect of that model, which was created to criticize the point the Swiss Made concept has reached, another bomb came from the brand: the Swiss Icons! The model, which blends many technical and visual elements that can be considered as milestones for Swiss watchmaking in an extremely absurd way, attracted the reaction of many major brands.
Of course, this interesting situation, which resulted in mentioning these strange models in almost all of our articles about the brand, was not enough to overshadow the brand's unique models in luxury watchmaking.
Recently, the band released the final version of the Swiss Alp Watch model. Let's take a closer look at the new model full of H. Moser & Cie style signature details.
H. Moser & Cie - Swiss Alp Watch Final Upgrade comes in a case measuring 38.2mm wide, 44mm high and 10.5mm thick. Of course, it is hard not to notice that the brand chooses such a similar concept to the Apple Watch, the industry leader in connected watches. Sapphire crystals are used on the front and back of the case made of stainless steel with black DLC coating. The slightly domed winding crown also shares the same material as the case.
The new model is adorned with a black dial made of Vantablack material. Vantablack, one of the darkest man-made materials in the world, is known for absorbing 99.965% of visible light. The material, which was originally developed for scientific applications, found more use in artistic applications under the special license of the artist Anish Kapoor, is also used for different luxury applications including watches. There is also a small seconds hand at 6 o'clock on the dial along with the blackened leaf-shaped hands.
The model includes the Caliber HMC 324, which was produced and designed in-house. The 27-jewel, hand-wound movement draws attention with its 4-day power reserve that can be monitored from the indicator on the movement side.
Limited to only 50 pieces, the model comes with a black hand-stitched alligator strap and a stainless steel standard buckle. The list price for the model is EUR 27,000.
