Hublot, which currently has two mono-brand boutiques in Texas (one in Dallas and the other in Houston), introduced its new limited edition version, which it dedicates to its third store opening in Austin next year.
The new model comes with a 44mm diameter micro-sandblasted matte blue ceramic case. The case, which includes characteristic details of the Big Bang model family such as the notched bezel and H-shaped screws, is equipped with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides. Standing out with its striking design, the case is waterproof up to 100 meters.
The Tri-Compax chronograph layout dial of the model hosts a camouflage-patterned floor designed in blue tones. At 12 o'clock, we see the lone star figure, the symbol of Texas. The Super-LumiNOVA filled applique markers and thick hands are accompanied by a red-tipped central chronograph seconds hand.
The new model is powered by the Caliber HUB4100 movement, which we are familiar with from many references in the Big Bang family. The automatic chronograph movement offers a power reserve of up to 42 hours when fully wound.
The model, which is limited to only 25 pieces, comes with a very stylish strap prepared with a camouflage pattern in shades suitable for the dial on a dark blue rubber base. At the end of the comfortable strap, Hublot signed folding clasp serves.
While the Hublot Austin Boutique won't open its doors until next spring, Big Bang Camo Texas is available for purchase through the Hublot Dallas Boutique at NorthPark Center and the Hublot Houston Boutique at The Galleria. The list price for the model produced specifically for the US market is $18,800.
