Hublot, which has signed many collaborations in different fields within the framework of its Art of Fusion motto, introduced its new model, designed within the scope of the Arturo Fuente brand partnership, which has started in 2012.
The new model comes with a 44mm diameter Big Bang style case. Laser-engraved patterns on the black ceramic case depict tobacco leaves gently swaying in the wind. In the middle of the sapphire crystal on the back of the case, there is the Fuente logo, the initials CF referencing Carlos Fuente Sr, and the phrase "Edición de Homenaje" (Homage Edition) in Spanish. The sporty case is water-resistant to 100 meters.
A magnificently crowned lion emblem adorns the sub-dial at 9 o’clock hosted by the perforated dial, which reminds us of Fuente's historical role as a cigar supplier to the Spanish palace. The dial, which sports thick baton-style hands and Roman numeral indexes, also features a date display in addition to the chronograph function.
The stylish model takes its power from the in-house Caliber HUB1242 Unico movement. The automatic movement, which includes the date window as well as the Bi-Compax chronograph function with column wheel and Flyback, offers a power reserve of 3 days/72 hours when fully wound.
The new model comes on a black rubber strap that is secured by a Hublot signed folding clasp made of black ceramic and titanium. Offered in a fascinating lacquered wooden box, the new model is limited to a span of 100 units. MSRP is EUR 27,900.
