Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph Orlinski King Gold Ref. 525.OX.0180.RX.ORL18, the flag ship of this collection, is the guest of our Hands On corner today.
The model is offered in a 45mm diameter faceted case designed by Richard Orlinski. The case is made of Hublot’s patented 18K pink gold alloy King Gold and features a faceted made of the same material as well. The H shaped 6 screws, a Hublot classic, are present on the bezel. Equipped with AR coated scratch resistant sapphire crystals on both sides, the case is water resistant to 50 meters / 5 bars.
It is not possible to hide the watch from curious eyes thanks to the design as well as the material. The black rubber strap is very comfortable but still inefficient in balancing the large and heavy case on the wrist. Therefore, it is very likely that it is not the ideal model for users who are sensitive about being off the radar and comfort.
The dial of the model is made of sapphire crystal glass. The gold-plated faceted facets and hour markers that accompany the dial are also designed by Richard Orlinski.
Hublot Classic Fusion Aerofusion Chronograph beats with the Caliber Ref. HUB1155 self-winding movement. The movement, which beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph), offers 42 hours of power reserve when fully wound and features Bi-Compax chronograph as well as a date display, is skeletonized and coated in dark gray.
The model, which is limited to only 200 pieces, is available with a MSRP of CHF 35,900.
