When Hublot introduces a new model, the first thing comes to my mind is “the brand partner”. Hublot collaborating with famous figures and/or different associations was a negative thing for me at the beginning. However, I can easily say that this makes me excited. The Aerofusion Eden Roc (Ref. 525.CM.0170.VR.ERS18) model, introduced recently, is a good example of this.
The new model that was designed in collaboration with the famous Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc Hotel in the Antibes region between Nice and Cannes in France attracts attention with its ceramic case and turquoise color. The place which was opened as a hotel in 1887 continues to be welcomed to its guests with its undeniably beautiful view and privileged service.
The model is limited to 50 units only. Made of black ceramic with brushed and polished surfaces, the Classic Fusion style case measures 45mm in diameter. The case is water resistant to 50 meters and is equipped with a ceramic case back. At the same time, the limit number and special edition information are also included there.
When we first look at the model’s dial, the turquoise color indices and hands attract attention. The color that was inspired by the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc’s Mediterranean scenery, tributes to the hot summer days. Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc life jacket illustration is visible at 3 o’clock of the skeleton style dial. Date display is located at 6 o’clock. Due to the lack of any phosphor material, the night time legibility is extremely limited.
The model is powered by the manufacture Caliber HUB1155. Bi-Compax chronograph movement offers 42 hours of power reserve when fully wound and is widely used in the brand’s product line for a long time
The new model is offered with two strap options. The rubber lining calf leather straps are available in blue (white stitches) and black (blue stitches). The straps are secured by black PVD coated folding clasps. The new model comes in a special wooden presentation box.
