Hublot received acclaim with the two new Classic Fusion models it introduced as part of the recently ended Dubai Watch Week 2023. The new models, designed and produced in collaboration with Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, attract attention with their calligraphic decorated dials by Wissam Shawkat.
The new models come in two reference sizes, 38mm x 9.6mm and 42mm x 10.4mm. Among the Classic Fusion style cases made of black ceramic material, the 42mm version has a black ceramic bezel, and the 38mm version has a black anodized aluminum bezel with 36 brilliant-cut diamonds. The cases feature scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides and are water-resistant up to 50 meters.
Both models feature unique dials decorated with calligraphic decorations created by the skillful hands of the famous artist Wissam Shawkat. The writings on the dials are read as "Al Zaman" and "Al Waqt", both of which mean time in Arabic. The dial, which has baton hands and sword-type indices, does not have any extra functions, including the date display.
The new models are powered by the Caliber Hublot HUB1110 movement. Sellita SW300-1-based automatic movement operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers up to 42 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
The models, which come with a black alligator strap and deployant clasp, are limited to 50 pieces and can only be purchased through Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons.
