Richard Mille, one of the first names to come to mind when it comes to exotic watches, opened its new 390 square meter boutique on the 57th street, right in the heart of Manhattan. Being the ninth boutique in the American continent, the store attracts attention with its elegant and contemporary design.
“From the company’s earliest days, a standalone boutique in New York City has been a top objective for me,” says Richard Mille, founder and CEO of the company. “But I am never one to rush a project if it isn’t perfect. For New York, where the boutique is an important showcase with global visibility, it was well worth waiting for just the right location, and the right space.”
The two-storey boutique, where every kind of needs of the guests are considered, has many sections including bar, VIP rooms, special design elevator and a part for women’s watches. Inspired by Richard Mille watches in the design of the boutique, the small but important details instantly draws attention.
The exterior of the boutique evokes admiration as well, like its interior design. Starting with the 9 meters glass front window that can be seen from a block away, Richard Mille’s touch can be felt in every aspect of the boutique. The 45 meters long double sided transparent wall that is illuminated by LED lights, offers a sparkling look at the entrance of the tallest skyscraper on the west side of the country.
