Hublot introduced three new limited edition timepieces that are designed in collaboration with the world famous cigar producer Arturo Fuente. The new models, which are offered in 18K King Gold, Bronze and Titanium case options, attract attention with their extensive decoration.
Arturo Fuente, who started their activities in Cuba in 1912 as "Tabacalera Arturo Fuente y Compañia" at that time, became one of the most important cigar producers of Cuba. Hublot and Arturo Fuente, who started cooperating for the first time in 2012, brought many different models designed under this brand partnership.
All models we have here for review are offered in standard Classic Fusion case style measuring 45mm in diameter. Though the platform is the standard Classic Fusion model family, the cases feature extensive details. The cases are engraved with the tobacco leaf pattern while the bezel is decorated with classic Cuban house motifs. Thanks to all those art work, the cases are no longer standard.
As mentioned above, the models are offered in three different cases materials as 18K King Gold (511.OX.6670.LR.OPX17) version limited to 50 units, Titanium (511.NX.6670.LR.OPX17) version limited to 100 units and the bronze (511.BZ. 6680.LR.OPX17) version which is also limited to 100 units. The models offer a water resistance value of 50 meters.
Hublot, arranged the dial colors in line with the case material tones as burgundy in the 18K King Gold version, blue in Titanium version and green in the Bronze version. The dials are accompanied with gold plated hands that do not have phosphor fillings on them. Date display is located at 3 o’clock with a white font over black background date disk.
Hublot Classic Fusion Fuente Limited Edition model family ticks with the Caliber HUB1112 that we are familiar with from several models in the Hublot product line. Self-winding movement beats at 4Hz and offers a power reserve of 42 hours when fully wound.
The models are offered on leather straps that are finished in line with the dial colors. It is safe to say that the straps are not less comfortable that the ones used on Berluti collection models. Alligator straps are secured with folding clasps that are produced in line with the case materials.
The Hublot Classic Fusion Fuente Collection comes in a special presentation box with humidor function.
