Hublot is a brand that is constantly looking for new materials and using different materials on the same model which is also proved itself by the breakthroughs it has made for years as an innovative brand. Their latest collection, Hublot Classic Fusion Italia Independent Collection, proves the same.

The first outcome of the Hublot / Italia Independent brand partnership is of course not this model. The duo, which worked on the Big Bang collection in the past, now goes for the Classic Fusion collection, which is also my favorite.

The brand, which was the pioneer in the sector by using different materials such as leather and jeans before, benefited from special fabrics this time. The collection, which consists of 6 timepieces in different designs and colors, has 3 different case materials. Titanium, King Gold and Ceramic materials used in the watches which are offered with cases measuring 45mm x 13.05mm. I think that the Classic Fusion collection is the most beautiful Hublot collection with its chronograph buttons and lug design as well as the case diameter-to-thickness ratio.

The Hublot Classic Fusion Italia Independent Collection is not the most versatile collection ever due to the fabrics used in both the dials and the straps, but of course it will surely complete your outfit at its best with the right combinations.

The case sports scratch proof and antireflection coating sapphire crystals on both sides. There are also limited edition numbers and model reference information are engraved on the caseback. The case is water resistant to 50 meters.

There are 3 different designs on the new models dials; "Houndstooth", "prince of woles" (3 different versions) and "tartan" (2 different versions). Roughly speaking, the models with the titanium cases feature the "houndstooth" and the "prince of woles" patterns, ceramic case versions feature the "tartan" and the "prince of woles" patterns and King Gold models bear the "tartan" and "prince of woles” dial styles.

The model’s Bi-Compax chronograph sub-dials are also within the familiar Classic Fusion lines and are located in 3-9 positions. The date window is located at 6 o’clock.

The new models are powered by the Caliber Ref HUB1143. The movement, which is based on ETA-2892, operates at a frequency of 4Hz and provides 42 hours of power reserve when fully wound. Thanks to the sapphire crystal display caseback, the movement can be enjoyed.

The timepieces in the new collection is offered with a variety of straps featuring the same fabric with the dials. The linings of the straps are made of vulcanized rubber to wear comfortably during hot weather. The straps are secured with folding clasps made of matching case materials.
