IWC has introduced a new model in the Ingenieur Collection to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mercedes-AMG brand partnership.
The model’s case measures 44mm x 15.9mm. Titanium case sports sapphire crystals on both sides and it is water resistant to 120M.
In the model where black indexes are preferred over the silver color dial, red details are also included to emphasize the sporting spirit. There is a chronograph sub-dial at 12 o’clock and a seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock. A white font is used on the black background in the date disk to create contrast with the dial.
The new model is powered by the in-house Caliber Ref. 89361. Self-winding movement beats at 4Hz offers a power reserve 68 hours when fully wound. The magnetic field protection we have used to see since the first samples of the Ingenieur Collection is also included in this model. Moreover, as seen on the back of the watch, magnetic protection is designed in shape of a brake caliper.
The model is offered on a black calf skin strap and a titanium buckle.
It will be limited production with 250 models which will be selling from autumn.
