IWC introduced a limited edition model exclusively designed to commemorate the world famous Formula 1 pilot Nico Rosberg and his 23 Grand Prix victories.
The new model comes in an 18K red gold case and a slate dial. The case is equipped with sapphire crystals on both sides and it is water resistant to 120 meters. The sapphire display caseback features an inscription of “NICO” mimicking the successful pilot’s name on his helmet. The new model is powered by the in-house Caliber Ref. 69375. IWC Schaffhausen Ingenieur Chronograph “Tribute to Nico Rosberg” is offered on a grey calf strap in line with the dial color. The strap is secured with an IWC signed standard buckle made of 18K red gold.
Limited to 23 units only, the new model will reach the boutiques and authorized IWC dealers by December 2017.
