Jacob & Co. unveiled the first limited edition model of their partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and DC. The new model comes in two versions that refer to two different identities of Bruce Wayne.
Designed with a diameter of 45.5mm and a height of 17.2mm, the bold case comes in matte black DLC coated titanium and 18K pink gold alternatives. The case has a sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the front and a cover with sapphire or laser-engraved sapphire crystals on the back. The lacquered Batman logo stands out on the crown surrounded by a rubber o-ring.
The new model hosts a polished and beveled black onyx dial decorated with a bat-figure plate with a yellow Neoralith surround. Black PVD or rose gold plated suspended indexes and, sword-style hands serve on the stylish dial.
The Jacob & Co Caliber JCFM10, designed and produced within the brand, powers the collection. The hand-wound movement consists of 56 jewels/382 components. Working at a frequency of 3Hz/21.600vph, the caliber offers up to 48 hours of power reserve when fully wound. Twin, tri-axis, and, flying Tourbillon escapements work within the movement. High-Speed Tourbillons (Internal Cage Rotation in 24 seconds, Intermediary Cage Rotation in 48 seconds, External Cage Rotation in 180 seconds). The caliber, which has hours and minutes, also hosts a power reserve indicator.
Stylish models are available with black rubber straps featuring yellow accents. The models are secured to the wrist with black DLC-coated titanium or 18K rose gold folding clasp.
