Jaeger-LeCoultre introduced a new limited edition variant of its cult model family Reverso. The new model stands out with its leather strap manufactured by Casa Fagliano, the famous Argentinean boot maker.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso is one of the first models to come to mind when the subject is rectangular case timepieces. Initially designed for British soldiers in India with a double-sided flip-case system to prevent damage during Polo matches, the model is considered as one of the most iconic timepieces of the watchmaking industry.
Reverso Tribute Duoface platform is preferred for the newly added version. The front dial is arranged with a time only lay-out featuring Dauphine style hands on a slate SunRay dial. The small second hand is located at 6 o’clock. The rear dial sports second time zone display and a day/night function with 24h indicator. Finished in metallic gray, the dial is decorated with Clous de Paris and Guilloché motifs.
The new model comes in a case measuring 49.4mm x 29.9mm, thus being the large size case for the Reverso Collection, made of 18K pink gold. The model is powered by the brand’s in-house movement Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber Ref. 854/2. Hand-wound movement beats at 3Hz and offers 42 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
The main focus on this new limited edition model is its strap of course. The strap is manufactured by the famous Argentinean boot maker Casa Fagliano. Finished in two-tone Cordovan style leather, the strap is secured by a JLC signed folding clasp made of 18K pink gold.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Duoface Casa Fagliano is limited to a span of 100 units only and available through Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutiques with an approximate price of EUR 21,000.
