Junghans, a boutique brand of German origin, introduced its new Meister Fein Automatic Signatur models, which attract attention with their simple and minimalist designs.
The well-established brand, which celebrates the 200th birth anniversary of its founder Erhard Junghans this year, crowned this special occasion with two new models. Presenting classic dress watch elements with a vintage theme, the new models were appreciated for their modest lines that gave the green light to elegant and versatile use.
Staying true to the minimalist aesthetics and slim silhouette of the Meister Fein Automatic series, the two new Signatur models come with a stainless-steel case designed with a diameter of 39.5 mm and a height of 11.0 mm. The elegant winding crown completes the case, which has sapphire crystals on the front and back. The stylish case offers water resistance of up to 50 meters.
The dials, which are offered in warm silver or light blue options, are accompanied by indices and thin hands that elongate toward the center. The date window, located just to the left of the 3 o'clock indicator, preserves the integrity of the dial, while the addition of the classic Junghans logo underlines the vintage theme.
The new models are powered by the Junghans J800.1 movement. The automatic movement based on the SW200-1 operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers up to 38 hours of power reserve when fully wound. The caliber, which features a perforated rotor and brand-specific details, can be viewed with pleasure through the transparent case back.
The models, fixed to the wrist with a black or navy-blue leather strap and steel buckle, retail at 1,690 EUR.
