Laurent Ferrier, one of the independent names in the world of high watchmaking, is expanding the modern-classic Classic Traveler model family with a new limited edition version. Introduced after stainless steel and 18K pink gold, the new model draws attention with its mint green dial as well as its titanium case
Hosting the same design elements as the previous models, the new model adorns the dreams of collectors with its low production quantity, as expected from the boutique manufacturer.
The new model comes with a case with a diameter of 41mm, a height of 12.64mm, and a lug-to-lug distance of 49mm. Sapphire crystals are used on the front and back of the titanium alloy case, which is known not only for its lightness but also for its corrosion resistance. The stylish case, accompanied by a dome-shaped winding crown, can withstand only 30 meters of water pressure.
The elegant model is complemented by a mint green dial. Long thin indices and hands accompany the dial, which takes on different shades of green with its sunray patterned background as well as its light green tone. The dial, which has a retro feel with the small seconds counter at 6 o'clock, has a date display at 3 o'clock and a second time zone indicator at 9 o'clock.
The new model is powered by the Caliber LF230.02 movement, as in the previous editions. Powered by an 18K solid gold rotor that winds in both directions, the automatic movement consists of a total of 288 parts, 44 of which are jewels, and can offer a power reserve time of up to 80 hours when fully wound.
The model, which is limited to only 15 pieces, comes with an Alcantara-lined green nubuck strap and a Grad5 5 titanium strap.
The list price for the model, which is only available through the brand's official website, is CHF 62,000 (tax excluded).
