Tambour has been in the world of watches as a well-established collection that has represented Louis Vuitton in the luxury watch segment since 2002. The model family, which stands out with its drum-style case, the depth by the combination of the high case profile with the stepped dial design, and the details that come to life in the skillful hands of the brand, opens a new page through comprehensive updates. Let's take a closer look at the iconic collection that said hello to 2023 with two new versions.

The new model comes with a drum-style case designed with a diameter of 40mm and a thickness of 8.3mm, considered the symbol of the model family. 12 Louis Vuitton embossed letters stand out on the side of the bezel of the case, which houses the most comfortable models of the collection ever produced with its more compact design compared to previous models. Sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating serve on both sides of the stylish stainless steel case. The case, which symbolizes the new face of the model family with its sporty style and refined lines, reminds us to keep the model away from the water with its waterproof value limited to 50 meters.

There are two different references in the current model family. The dials, which have had their share of the modern and basic update of the model family, enliven the clean look of monochrome color palettes with their sector-style divided surfaces. Time is followed by white gold hands on dials where large numbers and baton indices made of white gold are used together. The small seconds counter with a grooved background at 6 o'clock, and the scale ring on the outermost part where the hours and minutes are marked, promise clear legibility even in low-light environments thanks to its SLN-filled components.

At the heart of the new models is the Caliber LFT023, signed by Le Cercle des Horlogers. The Geneva Chronometric Observatory certified automatic caliber is powered by a micro-rotor made of 22K solid gold with stylized Louis Vuitton embroidery. The caliber, which operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800vph), provides a power reserve time of up to 50 hours when fully wound. The elegant movement, which can be viewed through the sapphire crystal display case back, offers a visual feast with its micro-sandblasted bridges, 31 colorless jewels, hand-polished and chamfered edges, and circularly decorated main plate.

Another detail symbolizing the new and modern face of Tambour welcomes us in the bracelet section. The integrated bracelet, designed per the Sport-Chic segment, one of the popular trends of recent times, promises a unique experience in terms of comfort while visually carrying the model to a different league. The elegant bracelet is fastened to the wrist with a hidden LV-signed clasp.
