MB&F, a classic name in the world of luxury watchmaking with their extra ordinary designs and exotic models, introduced the latest model of its iconic Horological Machines series, MB & F HM9 Flow.
The new model, which is inspired by the automobiles and aircraft of 1940s where the boxy and flat designs have left their places to aerodynamic, floating lines, will be offered in two versions limited to a span of 33 units per each.
MB&F HM9 Flow comes in a Grade 5 titanium case measuring 57mm x 47mm x 23mm. The case, which attracts attention with its design inspired by the flowing lines of 1940s automobiles and aircraft as well as it’s oversized dimensions, is equipped with five AR coated scratch resistant sapphire crystals. Designed in modular form with three main pieces, the case is water-resistant to 30 meters.
The dial is located between a pair of parts that are inspired by streamline jet engines and designed in two different themes. The Air Edition comes with a typical pilot’s watch dial (with a triangle at 12 o’clock and propeller-shaped hands) while the Road Edition features a a dial reminiscent of vintage dashboard speedometers.
The new model includes a exclusively designed manual winding movement. Consisting of 301 individual parts (44 jewels), the movement beats at a frequenc of 18.000vph and offers 45 ours of power reserve time when fully wound. The movement, which can be enjoyed thanks to the sapphire crystals on the case, is offered in two versions as dark NAC-coated for Air Edition and rose gold-plated for Road Edition.
MB&F HM9 Flow comes on a hand stitched brown calf-leather strap that is secured by a titanium folding clasp and available with a MSRP of CHF 168,000 per each version.
