MeisterSinger, a well-known name for single-handed watches, adds a new model to the Singularis collection, one of the brand's flagship model families. The limited edition model attracts attention with its enamel dial detail.
MeisterSinger, a unique name among German watchmakers, is one of the rare brands that offers single-handed watches today. Offering this interesting display style in almost every model, Meister is mostly known for its relatively accessible timepieces. However, the brand sometimes launches exclusive models and manages to attract the attention of watch lovers with those special models.
The Singularis series, recently introduced by the brand, is the successor of the Circularis model family. Being the flagship of the MeisterSinger family, Singularis today greets watch lovers once again with a limited edition model.
The new model comes in a stainless steel case measuring 43mm in diameter and 12.5mm in height. Standing out with its basic yet functional lines, following the brand's general design language, the case sports both matte and glossy surfaces. The case has a curved sapphire crystal on the front and a sapphire crystal cover on the back. Accompanied by a MeisterSinger-signed winding crown, the beautiful case is resistant to 50 meters of water pressure.
The dial, one of the two prominent features of the MeisterSinger Singularis Enamel Limited Edition model, is made of enamel material, as indicated in the model's name. The dial background, which pays homage to traditional watchmaking with its ivory surface color, is obtained by baking the enamel powder sprayed on a copper plate at a temperature of 800C. The classic design continues with the flame-blued single hand and elegant indexes reminiscent of old pocket watches. The elegant handwritten logo and Edition Singularis inscriptions reinforce the thematic integrity of the dial.
Another distinctive feature of the model welcomes us in the caliber section. MeisterSinger Singularis Enamel Limited Edition is powered by a hand-wound caliber instead of an automatic, following its traditional weighted theme. The brand's patented mechanism, Caliber MSH01, operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers a very efficient power reserve time of 5 days/120 thanks to its sequentially placed double pump. Equipped with curved bridges and Côtes de Genève patterns, the elegant movement can be viewed through the sapphire crystal case back.
eisterSinger Singularis Enamel Limited Edition, limited to only 20 pieces, comes with a black leather strap with crocodile printing and a steel buckle signed by MeisterSinger. The list price for the model, which is scheduled to reach sales points as of January 2023, is EUR 6,490 EUR.
