Mido Multifort Escape Horween Special Edition

Mido, one of the well established brands of Swiss watchmaking industry, introduced a special edition of its long time collection Multifort designed in collaboration with the famous leather tanner Horween.

The Multifort Collection, introduced in 1934, is considered as one the longest production collections of Swiss watchmaking industry. Recently, Mido introduced the latest member of its iconic product line which is designed in collaboration with the famous US based leather tanner Horween.

The new model is offered in a 44mm diameter case made of black PVD coated and aged stainless steel making the timepiece the largest there-hand model in the current Mido product line. Equipped with a AR coated and domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal on the front side, the case is water resistant to 100 meters.

The model’s dial is finished in black with classic Cotes de Genève patterns. Based on a 1940s Multifort from the brand’s archives, the dial bears a date display at 6 o’clock.

The new model is powered by the Swatch Group’s Caliber Ref. 80. Self winding movement beats at 4Hz and offers a very efficient power reserve time of 80 hours when fully wound. 

Mido Multifort Escape Horween Special Edition is offered with a pair of leather straps both signed by Horween and a tang buckle manufactured in line with the case.

The MSRP of the model is EUR 950,00.
