Nomos, one of Germany-based watchmakers, introduced its new model with the Neomatic movement. The new model, which follows the brand’s new minimalist design concept, is inspired by German highways.
The new model is available in 3 different versions both offered in 41mm stainless steel cases. With its long lugs case and unique winding crown design, the new Autobahn model is produced referring to the brand’s signature design details. The new model is water resistant to 100 meters.
The part that we can talk in detail for the Nomos Autobahn model is the dial. The lines between 4 o’clock and 8 o’clock are inspired by the German motorways. Superluminova fillings also offer a greatviewing pleasure in dark environments.
In the new model, with 3 different dial colors, the small seconds hand is placed at 6 o’clock position and the big date window is placed under the small seconds dial. Thanks to the concave form of the small seconds counter, the dial is granted with a deep, multi dimensional look.
The new models are powered by the new Neomatic Caliber DUW 601. The movement is equipped with a quick set date feature that allows the user to adjust the date display forward or backward without the risk of any damage. With o total height of 3.6mm, the movement also allows the thinner case to be used.
The models are offered on textile straps that are secured with stainless steel buckles. However, different leather straps with suitable lug width can be purchased from Nomos retailers.
The models are available at the Nomos Online Boutique with a list price of 4,180 CHF including taxes. Delivery is 9 business days but it may get longer after the exhibition due to the coming orders.
