Romain Jerome continues to produce limited-edition timepieces for the legendary cartoon character Pokémon. The famous brand that has been memorized with thematic models, showed up with a unique piece featuring a tourbillon escapement.
The new model is offered in a 48mm diameter case made of black PVD coated stainless steel. Sporting scratch resistant sapphire crystals on both sides, the case is water resistant to 50 meters.
The Pokémon illustration is handcrafted not printed. The dial, which is accompanied with a set of black hands, features the tourbillion cage at 6 o’clock position secured by a lighting shaped bridge.
The model is powered by Caliber Ref. RJ400-TS. The 27 jewels self-winding tourbillon movement provides a 60-hour power reserve when fully wound and operates at 4Hz.
The new model comes on a black alligator strap with contrasting blue and yellow stitching.
Only one model will be produced and the selling price is $ 200,000.
