A blessing of this cycle is apples, apricots, cherries, peaches, pears and, of course, purple plums that bloom in spring, ready to be harvested at the beginning of autumn after ripening over a long, hot summer. The new Tetra Plum by Nomos looks as delicious as purple plums with the sophisticated touch of silvery numbers, indexes, and hands.
The Nomos Glashütte Tetra Plum comes in a square stainless steel case with a diameter of 29.5mm. The case back is made of stainless steel, consisting of two parts and secured by four screws. Pretty slim for a mechanical watch (6.3mm), is equipped with two-layer lugs. The case is resistant to water pressure up to 30 meters.
Let’s get to the movement, one of the most important parts. The German brand is also very successful in this regard. Tetra Plum comes to life with the hand-winded Nomos Caliber 4301 equipped with the swing system. Having this technological capability ensures the brand’s movement quality and the reliability of its watches. The movement provides a minimum power reserve of 43 hours when fully wound.
The rhodium-plated hands display the time on the dial that looks quite elegant. The power reserve can be monitored from the indicator between 12 and 1 o’clock. The round sub-second dial adds a touch of contrast to the meticulously shaped corners of Tetra. In general, we can say that the design of the watch is timeless, contemporary and compatible with large wrists.
The Nomos Glashütte Tetra Plum is finished with a velour gray leather strap. The model will be meeting the watch lovers at selected dealers as of this month.
