The Italian-spirited Swiss watchmaker, Panerai, continues its novelties in 2021 without slowing down. In addition to chronograph models, new eSteel cases made of recycled metals are candidates to be among the talked about models of the year.
Luminor Chrono
Models with a Luminor type case made of stainless steel, measuring 44mm x 15.65mm, have three different dial options. The watches with black, blue, and white themes offer sapphire crystals and a water resistance value of up to 100 meters. The cases are made of stainless steel with closed case backs. The new models are powered by the automatic Caliber P.9200 with a 42-hour power reserve. The matte black dial PAM01109 and the matte white dial PAM01218 models will be presented with a black alligator strap, while the blue dial PAM01110 will be presented with a stainless steel bracelet.
Luminor Chrono Luna Rossa
The model, designed exclusively for the Luna Rossa Pirelli Prada team, with a stainless steel case measuring 44mm x 15.65mm, comes in limited numbers. The model with sapphire crystal and a closed case back made of stainless steel has a water resistance value of 100 meters. Luna Rossa is powered by the automatic Caliber P.9200 with 42 hours of power reserve. PAM01303 Luminor Chrono Luna Rossa, which has two special straps in blue and white, using a combination of rubber and fabric, will only be produced in 1000 pieces.
Luminor Chrono Monopulsante GMT Blu Notte
PAM00317, the legendary chronograph Panerai model from years ago, is here with its new face as if to prove to us that it has not lost anything of its beauty. PAM01135, which will be produced in a limited number of only 200 pieces, comes with a ceramic case measuring 44mm x 19.55mm. Equipped with front and back (darkened) sapphire crystals, the model is resistant to 100 meters of water pressure. The model is equipped with a single button chronograph feature, hand-wound Caliber P.2004 with a whopping 8-day power reserve. PAM01135, which will be presented to the taste of watch enthusiasts with dark leather and rubber straps, combines the eye-catching blue with the dark tones of ceramic, creating a remarkable combination.
Luminor Marina eSteel
Making a name for itself with social responsibility projects based on respect for nature, the brand introduces its new eSteel series with a case and dial where recycled metals are also used in its production. In the model, where 58.4% of its total weight consists of recycled metals, a 44mm x 15.45mm case is included. There are three different versions of the model: dark blue, green, and gray. At the heart of the watches with references PAM01157, PAM01356 and PAM01358 is the automatic movement Caliber P.9010 with a 72-hour power reserve. The models with sapphire crystal and a water resistance value of up to 300 meters, complemented with straps that are made of recycled materials, just like their cases.
