Officine Panerai, the Italian origin brand of the watch industry that is identified with the sea and maritime, once again joins forces with DenizTemiz Association / TURMEPA, the leading non-governmental organization that protects Turkey’s oceans and marine life.
The famous brand donates two special timepieces for this project. All the income from the auction, which will be held on December 4th 2017, will be donated to the project.
The first one is the Mare Nostrum Acciaio which attracts attention with its blue dial and 42mm case. Being one of the special timepieces Officine Panerai will donate for this project, the Mare Nostrum Acciaio is also known as the final member of the model family which is the first chronograph timepiece in the brand’s history. The other model to be included in the auction is the Luminor 1950 Chrono Monopulsante 8 Days GMT Titanio - 44mm which is considered as one of the special models in the brand’s Green Dial Collection. The model, which is limited to 200 units and offered only for sale in Panerai boutiques, comes with a matte titanium case measuring 44mm in diameter. Standing out with its dark green dial featuring the OP logo, the model also sports the brand’s signature detail unique crown guard. The Luminor 1950 Chrono Monopulsante 8 Days GMT Titanio - 44mm that is planned to be sold in the auction specifically, features an exclusively engraved case referring to the occasion.
