Omega introduced the new Aqua Terra model designed exclusively for the Winter Olympic Games planned to be held in Beijing next year.
The new model is based on the Aqua Terra 150M platform, which stands out with its versatile character and rich model alternatives in the Omega product line.
The sporty case, designed with a diameter of 41mm, is produced from stainless steel. There is a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the front of the case, which consists of matte and glossy surfaces. On the back of the case, there is a Beijing 2022 embroidered solid cover, unlike the standard models in the collection. The case is equipped with a screw-in crown and is waterproof up to 150 meters.
The new model hosts a winter-inspired ceramic dial, attracting attention with its texture resembling a frosted surface. The dial is equipped with blue-coated applique indices and hands and has a date window at 6 o'clock.
The stylish model houses the Caliber 8900 movement, which is also used in different model families in the Omega product group. The self-winding movement, designed and manufactured in-house, offers a power reserve time of up to 60 hours when fully wound. The caliber features cutting-edge technology components such as free-sprung balance and silicon balance spring and offers magnetic resistance up to 15000 Gauss, as stated in the Master Chronometer certificate.
The special but not limited edition model comes with a three-piece sporty metal bracelet. The list price for the model, which is available with a Beijing 2022 themed presentation box set, is EUR 6,100.
