Omega is under the spotlight once again with its successful model family in the sports-casual category, Aqua Terra. The model, which has been a guest of our pages from the recently renewed model family, promises a versatile use with its 38mm case diameter and Bi-Color material configuration.
The Aqua Terra collection, which was recently renewed and was a guest of our HoroboxTV corner right after its introduction, is considered one of the most successful product groups of the brand with its elegant lines, details that pay homage to Omega DNA, and superior technological features. The model family, which offers many dial, strap and material options as well as different case sizes, stands out with its versatile character that can accompany almost any environment.
The model we chose for the review (Reference 220.20.38.20.10.001) is in the Bi-Color segment with its materials consisting of the brand's patented gold alloy Sedna™ Gold and stainless steel. The stylish case offers an optimal size with its 38mm diameter in today's world where the value of elegant and compact case sizes is better appreciated. Equipped with a Sedna™ Gold gold bezel and winding crown on a steel body, the case has sapphire crystals on both sides. The model, which can also take on a sporty character with its brand-specific horn design and thick bezel, can accompany its users in every occasion with its 150-meter waterproof value.
The dial of the new model draws attention with its green hue, which has influenced the last ten years of the watch industry. There is a small seconds indicator, which represents the new face of the model family, on the dial, where gold hands and indexes are designed in accordance with the case material. The date window, which was added just above the 6 o'clock marker, scores points in the functionality criterion without compromising the elegance of the model.
