Oris, which has won the hearts of watch lovers with its models that create wonders in price/performance, adds a new color to the successful model family in the diver's watch segment, Aquis Small Second Date.
In addition to its sporty and versatile design, the model, which stands out with its simple yet distinctive complication in a segment where functionality is at the forefront, such as the diver's watch, meets with a new blue dial inspired by the deep seas.
Aquis Small Second Date, which was included in the product group of the brand in 2017, continues to be the choice of many watch enthusiasts with its design that includes a second hand placed on a separate counter as well as a date window. The model family, which experienced its first encounter with the color blue with a relatively light-toned dial, says hello to a new darker blue dial.
The new model comes with a sporty case designed with a diameter of 45.5mm and a height of 15.9mm. The case, which is made of stainless steel and attracts attention with its bold size, is made of stainless steel. On the front of the case, there is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a ceramic insert diver bezel designed in accordance with the blue theme. Equipped with an Oris-signed screw-down crown, the case draws a profile suitable for professional use with its 500 meters water resistance value.
The distinctive feature of the model added to the collection, the blue theme, also finds its place on the dial. Using the design language of the model family, the dial features SLN-filled paddle-style hands and indices.
The new model is powered by the Oris Caliber 743 movement based on Sellita SW220-1. Working at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph), the automatic movement, with its 38-hour power reserve time when fully wound, is slightly below the industry standards, but it overcomes this weakness with its robustness and accuracy.
