Oris announces the new Oris Big Crown ProPilot 55th Reno Air Races Limited Edition model, designed to commemorate the 55th Reno Air Races.
The new limited edition model will be offered in two versions as stainless steel bracelet and textile strap. Based on the brand’s iconic Big Crown ProPilot Day Date, the new model comes in a multi-piece case measuring45mm in diameter. The stainless steel case is equipped with a inner side anti-reflection coated scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on the front face and a solid case back at the rear case. It is water-resistant to 100 meters / 10 bars.
The dial simple but functional with contrasting big Arabic numeral indices over black background. Day and date display is located at 3 o’clock. There is no sign referring to the occasion that the model is dedicated to rather than the red and white tip on the central seconds hand. Legibility is perfect under every condition thanks to the Super LumiNOVA apllied hands and indices.
The new model is powered by the Oris Cal.752 whichis based on the Sellita SW 220-1. Self-winding movement beats at 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers 38 hours power reserve time when fully wound.
Oris 55th Reno Air Races Limited Edition retails for CHF 1,850 (strap) and CHF 2,050 (bracelet) respectively.
