The Hölstein-based brand has announced a new model dedicated to legendary baseball player Hank Aaron.
Oris, which is among the important names of the sector with its models dedicated to the personalities who have written their names in the history of humanity with golden letters, as well as social responsibility projects, continues this tradition with a new model.
The famous athlete, known not only for his outstanding achievements and records in baseball but also for making his success and reputation in sports a tool to defend civil rights and equality, is the inspiration for Oris' new model.
The new model is limited to 2,297 units, representing Hank Aaron's undefeated record. Inspired by Hank's famous Atlanta Braves uniform with blue, red, and white accents, the stylish model is based on the brand's classic Big Crown Pointer 40mm platform.
Designed with a diameter of 40mm and a height of 12mm, the case is made of stainless steel. The case, which has a fluted bezel and anti-reflective sapphire crystal on the front, has an engraved solid steel cover on the back. Equipped with a screw-in crown, the stylish case offers resistance to 50 meters of water pressure.
Time is followed by cathedral-style hands on the dial with blue details on a white background. The date function is read with the red-tipped hand and the scale on the outside of the dial.
The new model takes its power from the Caliber 754 movement. The Sellita SW-200-based automatic caliber offers a power reserve time of up to 38 hours when fully wound.
The sporty model comes with a baseball-inspired blue leather strap with white stitching. The box set also includes a blue/red/white fabric strap with a steel buckle and a strap-changing tool. MSRP is CHF 2,300.
