The new model is part of the Hölstein Editions product line, which the brand recently started and has become a tradition. The watches, named after the town in the Swiss Jura mountains, where the brand was founded in 1904, are generally the versions of the models in the product group equipped with various modifications. Past editions within the lineup include a bronze Divers Sixty-Five, the Big Crown Pointer Date equipped with the new in-house Caliber 403, and a remake of a classic Full Steel Worldtimer from the 1990s. Oris Hölstein Edition 2023 is based on the Aquis Caliber 400 41.5mm model, which is among the best-seller products of the brand.

Oris Hölstein Edition 2023 comes with a 41.5mm diameter case made of stainless steel. The front of the sporty case, in which matte and glossy surfaces are used together, has an AR-coated and double-domed sapphire crystal and a gray ceramic insert diver bezel. The case, which is completed with a solid case back and screw-in winding crown with a fun illustration of the brand's mascot, offers resistance to water pressure up to 300 meters.

The dial, which is the highlight of the model, hosts a purple background with a sunray pattern. The dial, which is a candidate to attract attention with its lively tone, does not have the date window found in other models. The hands and indices, identified with the brand with their forms resembling a marine palette, promise perfect readability in almost any environment thanks to the SLN phosphor application.

The new model takes its power from the brand's in-house movement Caliber 400. The 21-jewels movement, which oscillates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph), offers 120 hours/5 days of power reserve time thanks to its twin-barrel assembly. The caliber, which offers a -3/+5-day accuracy rating and exceeds ISO 764 anti-magnetic standard, is among the most successful calibers in its class.

A three-link stainless steel bracelet, also one of the brand's classic designs, complements the stylish model. An Oris-signed folding clasp featuring a diver's extension piece secures the bracelet. The list price for the model, which is limited to 250 pieces only and is presented in a special wooden box, is CHF 4,000.
