Swiss manufacturer Oris introduced its novelties in the biggest watchmaking organization of 2023. The Oris stand, where two Aquis and one ProPilot models were on display, puts a smile on the faces of watch lovers, especially with its new model dedicated to Kermit.
ProPilot X Kermit Edition
Produced in collaboration with Oris and Disney puppet Kermit, the model impresses both watch and nostalgia enthusiasts with its dial color and customized date disc. Kermit, who advises us not to take life so seriously, comes to life again in the new model of Oris ProPilot. On the date declared as Kermit day and coinciding with the first day of each month, the picture of Kermit appears on the dial instead of 1. The case of the model, which has a green dial associated with Kermit the Frog, is made of titanium with a diameter of 39mm, as in other versions of the series. The water resistance value of the watch, which has a sapphire crystal and transparent case back, is 100 meters. At the heart of the model, which is crowned with a bracelet with a special locking system called "LIFT", reminiscent of the seat belt buckles of airplanes, is the automatic Caliber 400, which is produced in-house, has a COSC certificate and a 5-day power reserve.
Aquis Date Calibre 400
The new Aquis models are in front of us with a combination of a dial that changes from green from the center to black from the edges and a 43.5mm diameter stainless steel case. The model with sapphire crystal and a transparent case back is water resistant to 300 meters. The watch, which has a stainless steel bracelet or black rubber strap options, is equipped with an in-house manufactured, COSC-certified automatic Caliber 400 with a 5-day power reserve.
Aquis Date Diamonds
These new Aquis models, adorned with diamonds, have a stainless steel case with a diameter of 41.5mm. The water resistance values of the watches with sapphire crystal and a transparent case back are 300 meters. The watch has 48 Top Wesselton diamonds on the case, and 44 Top Wesselton diamonds on the sunray patterned cherry red dial. The total weight of the diamonds placed in the model is 1.2 carats. Models powered by the automatic Caliber 733, which has a 38-hour power reserve, can be purchased with a choice of stainless steel bracelets or cherry red rubber straps.
