The meaning and importance of the Luminor Collection are undeniable for Panerai. This collection is more like a manifesto for the brand’s turning points. Luminor is the name of the product that has the light-emitting feature developed by the company and the model that came to the forefront thanks to the diving watch features and the brand's most important military achievements in the early 1950s. This valuable collection now continues to expand with the new Luminor Luna Rossa GMT - 44mm (PAM01036) and Luminor Marina Panerai Goldtech - 44mm (PAM01112).

Panerai brings the Luminor Marina model, which has become an icon in luxury watchmaking, to a new form with the contribution of Goldtech, a distinguished and precious alloy. The new Luminor Marina Panerai Goldtech - 44mm (PAM01112) expresses Italian genius and creativity in an authentic language.
This Luminor Marina, which comes in a Goldtech case measuring 44mm in diameter, has a very sophisticated appearance thanks to the precious metal. The red gold alloy developed by Panerai Laboratorio di Idee, contains a high proportion of copper (24 percent) and some platinum (0.4 percent). The only plus of the materials in the alloy is not this striking color intensity; it also raises the oxidation resistance to a remarkable level.
A polished bezel and a Safety Lock crown made of the same material complements the Luminor Marina Panerai Goldtech’s bold case. Sapphire crystal rises above the dial of the model. On the back, there is also a screw-lock Goldtech case back with a sapphire crystal display. This Luminor Marina model is only water-resistant up to 50 meters. I must say that this is my only negative opinion about the model up to this point. Unfortunately, I cannot mute my inner voice, which says that the model with such a history should be able to withstand water pressure of at least 100 meters.
Let's talk about the face of this bold model talking to us, namely its dial. The blue background of the sandwich dial features with a matted sunbeam pattern. The date window of the model is located at 3 o'clock and the second sub-dial at 9 o'clock. Green Super-LumiNOVA filled white big numbers and markers display the time.
The watch beats by the automatic movement P.9010 that provides a three-day power reserve when fully wound.
A beige color stitched blue crocodile leather strap and buckle made from the same material as the case complements Luminor Marina Panerai Goldtech - 44mm. The box set also offers an additional blue rubber strap.

Panerai introduces a new model, which is inspired by the 36th America’s Cup Challenger of Record, to the watch lovers.
Panerai and Luna Rossa come together in a common purpose and define this goal as "perfecting visionary tools destined to change the rules of the game”. Panerai Luminor Luna Rossa GMT - 44 mm benefits from high-tech materials used by both the brand and the Luna Rossa team. Titanium, which draws attention with its hypoallergenic properties, lightness, and corrosion resistance, is one of them. The special carbon-based DLC coating also enhances the waterproofing feature of titanium.
A bezel and Safety Lock crown made of the same material accompanies the model’s 44mm titanium case with black DLC coating. The case back features the Luna Rosso logo, the Luna Rossa AC75 body, and the drawing of America’s Cup. The case is water-resistant to 300 meters.
The dark gray, sailcloth covered dial attracts attention with its large numbers and markers with green phosphor toned white Super-LumiNOVA. The dial features the date display at 3 o'clock, small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock, and the phrase “Luna Rossa Challenger 36th America's Cup” just above 6 o’clock.
The Panerai Luminor Luna Rossa GMT - 44 mm ticks with the self-winding Caliber P.9100 / GMT that provides a three-day power reserve when fully wound.
A 'Ponte Vecchio' calfskin strap with white stitching on black and a buckle made of the same material with the case complements the model. The watch comes with an additional black strap as well.
