The Luminor Collection, which has been highlighted this year by the famous brand of Italian origin, continues to attract the likes of watch lovers with its brand new models featuring high-tech materials. Here we are with the Luminor Marina Fibratech ™ - 44 mm (PAM01663), which is produced from the brand's patented Fibratech ™ material.
Panerai Luminor Marina Fibratech ™ - 44 mm (PAM01663) combines the brand's two high-end materials, Fibratech ™ and Carbotech ™. The Luminor style case, designed with a diameter of 44mm and a height of 15.65, is made of Fibratech ™ material. Made from natural and eco-sustainable raw fibers, Fibratech is an alloy with remarkable physical and mechanical properties. The material, which is 60 percent lighter than steel, durable, and highly resistant to abrasion, is the result of a long study carried out in Panerai Laboratorio di Idee. Fibratech ™, which Panerai developed and refined to put into practice in the field of watchmaking, consists of one-way mineral fibers produced as a result of basalt stone fusion. Fibers that are joined together with perfect orientation, then combined in pressure and temperature controlled process and connected with polymers become thin layers. Since Fibratech ™ is caused by the non-homogeneous matte gray color and the way the material is cut, it offers an impossible to imitate appearance. While the bezel and crown of the case, which is resistant to 300 meters of water pressure, are produced from the patented Carbotech ™ material, the crown guard device, which has become the symbol of the brand, is made of Fibratech ™. Titanium cover is used on the back of the case, which has a sapphire crystal on the front.
Blue background with a gradient effect was preferred on the dial of the model. Large Arabic numbers and hour markers covered with white Super-LumiNOVA ™ with green luminescence accompanied the dial that was designed in Sandwich style, which is one of the symbol features of the brand. The date window is located at 3 o'clock and the small seconds counter at 9 o'clock.
The Panerai Luminor Marina Fibratech ™ - 44 mm (PAM01663) model features the Caliber P.9010 movement, designed and produced in the brand's factory in Neuchatel. The operating frequency of the 31-jewel/200-piece automatic movement is set at 4Hz / 28.800vph, and the power reserve it provides when fully wound is 72 hours (3 days). Glucydur ™ balance and Incabloc ™ anti-shock system are used in the movement that includes hour, minute, small seconds, and date functions.
To accompany the new model, a blue Panerai Sportech ™ strap with white stitches was preferred. Black DLC-coated titanium buckle is used at the end of the strap.
