Continuing to enrich its existing product range with new and unique material combinations, Panerai introduced a new model for the Submersible collection, its successful representative in the diver's watches segment.
The Submersible model family, which has been in the Luminor product group for a long time, has been renewed in the past years and has entered the main product groups of the Italian origin brand with its own collection. Developed in line with the tool watch concept, the collection has managed to become one of the most talked-about Panerai collections of recent years with many updates focused on durability and comfort, as well as special and limited-edition versions.
The sporty model family came to the fore once again with the new Panerai Submersible GoldtechTM - 44 mm (PAM01070), which was introduced recently.
The new model comes with a 44mm diameter case based on the modern Submersible platform. The distinguishing feature of the case, which looks similar to other models using the same platform in terms of design, is hidden in its materials. Panerai Submersible GoldtechTM - 44 mm (PAM01070) consists of a combination of two new-generation materials patented to the brand. The main body of the model is made of GoldtechTM material. Consisting of 18K gold, copper, and platinum, the alloy stands out with its unique pinkish color as well as its corrosion resistance. Among the components that make up the case, the diver bezel that can rotate in one direction, the crown, and the crown protection bridge are also produced using CarbotechTM, one of the brand's new generation materials. The material, which creates a stylish contrast with its matte black form, also offers a look that suits the sporty character of the model. The case has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal on the front and DLC-coated titanium case back on the rear side. The water pressure resistance value of the model is 300 meters.
The dial of the new model is designed in black per the bi-color concept. On the base of the dial, accompanied by gold hands and indices, “satiné soleil” surface patterns, which are used for the first time in the Submersible model family, are featured. The dial has a date window at 3 o'clock and a small-seconds counter at 9 o'clock. All indexes and hands contain Super-LumiNOVA phosphor with a green glow.
Panerai Submersible GoldtechTM - 44 mm (PAM01070) comes to life with the Caliber P.900, which we are familiar with from other models of the brand. The automatic movement with 23 jewels / 171 pieces beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers 72 hours (3 days) power reserve when fully wound.
The model comes with a black rubber strap and a black DLC plated buckle. The box also includes a black Panerai SportechTM strap decorated with ecru-toned stitches.
