The boutique brand Richard Mille, which brings a completely different perspective (and a price scale) to luxury watchmaking with its exotic models, has been continuing its brand partnership with the world-famous tennis player Rafael "Rafa" Nadal for 10 years.

The partnership, which started with RM 027 in 2010, continued with models 27-01, 27-02, and 27-03, respectively. The brand, which redefines the concept of technological marvel in every model, has not broken this tradition with the new model.

The new model's case, measuring in 38.4mm x 11.4mm x 47.25mm, is made of a special alloy called TitaCarb. Let's also underline that the total weight of the watch, including the strap, is only 30 grams thanks to the alloy containing 38.5% carbon fiber. The case, which has sapphire crystals on both sides and an orange o-ring sealed crown on the right side, can withstand water pressure up to 50 meters. The case is accompanied by a blue textile strap.

Since the dial of the model is skeleton style, all the details of the high-tech movement can be seen through the dial. The time is read with red filled markers on the scale placed inside the case and skeleton hands with the same detail. The steel net detail on the dial is directly inspired by the tennis racket. Just like a real tennis racket, this system, which absorbs shocks, can withstand up to 12000 G with its PVD-coated 5N gold tensioners.

The new model comes to life with the Caliber RM27-04 movement, which is attached to the case with this 885 square millimeter metal net. The hand-wound movement with 19 jewels, designed completely in skeleton form and with a total weight of 3.4gr, operates at a frequency of 21.600vph. The movement, which has a Tourbillon feature besides the hour and minute functions, offers 38 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
