Rafael Nadal's close relationship with Richard Mille has helped us see the most exciting examples of exotic watches for many years. The Rafael Nadal series with tourbillon movements, which started with RM27, was taken to a different level with RM35, nicknamed "baby Nadal". RM35 has attracted the close attention of watch lovers, as it manages to offer all of Richard Mille's characteristic details, a movement with a classic escapement system, and a cheaper price tag compared to many other watches of the brand.

Representing the final point of the RM35 series, RM35-03 has a black carbon case, unlike its white and dark blue case siblings introduced before it. The case, produced with the technology called NTPT, is at the peak of sportiness, with a barrel-shaped case.

Equipped with the RMAL2 automatic caliber, the watch has two features (if any) that make it stand out from its competitors. The button located just above the crown is used to adjust the crown position of the watch. So you don't have to pull the crown to wind or adjust this watch. Every time you press the "Selector" button, the movement; idle activates the gears required for one of the winding and adjustment functions. The “Sport” button on the left side of the case opens or closes the rotor, which is the most important part of the automatic winding system. The word "open" may be an accurate expression because when you press the button, the rotor opens to both sides like a butterfly's wing and two blades positioned symmetrically around a center ensure that the rotor does not function. When you press the same button again, the rotor blades return to their previous position and the watch continues winding. Considering that automatic watches have over-winding protection, if you wonder what use this feature can provide, I would like to remind you again that Richard Mille is not a "normal" person. Naturally, watches are designed and produced not for normal people, but for those who like to live on the edge.

Case dimensions of the watch: 43.15mm x 49.95mm x 13.15mm. The power reserve of the movement is 55 hours. The water resistance of the watch is 50 meters. The list price of RM35-03 is 238,000 USD, if you can find it of course...
