Richard Mille, one of the first brands that come to mind when it's about innovation, introduced the most complicated automatic caliber ever in its new model, RM65-01 Automatic Split Seconds Chronograph. The movement, produced as a result of a five-year research and development process, symbolizes the beginning of a new era regarding both materials and engineering.

The skeletonized, self-winding Caliber RMAC4 features hours, minutes, seconds, date, split-seconds chronograph, and quick winding complications. The movement's main plate is in Grade 5 titanium and, the gear train contains elements such as aluminum and vanadium.  One of the fascinating features of the model is the split-seconds chronograph function. The caliber, which has a 60-hour power reserve, can be activated instantly with the quick winding button placed at 8 o'clock if it stops. RM engineers deserve a big congratulation, as they have overcome several challenges in making this operation possible. Pressing the crown changes the functions, which are visible through the dedicated hand at 4 o'clock. The movement beats at a frequency of 5Hz (36000vph) and measures time with an accuracy of one-tenth of a second.

Another part of the watch, which is as intriguing as its movement, is its case. The case, which was created by adding 600 layers of carbon TPT on top of each other and processed on ultra-sensitive CNC machines after being baked under high pressure and temperature, is extremely durable and light, just like other RM models. Surrounded by sapphire crystals with anti-reflective coating on both sides, the case is water-resistant to 50 meters.

The sporty atmosphere dominating the overall model, which has a very colorful dial, is undoubtedly ingrained in the brand's DNA and comes from the interest in extreme sports, which Richard Mille supports at every opportunity. The Richard Mille RM65-01 Automatic Split Seconds Chronograph comes with a black rubber strap and a double-sided folding clasp made of titanium.
