RJ, previously known as Romain Jerome, introduced its latest edition to the model series inspired by Marvel and DC Comics characters. The new model, which tributes to Two-Face, the famous villain in Batman, is limited 100 units only.
The model is offered in a 45mm diameter case made of Grade 5 ultra-light titanium alloy. On the front side of the case, there is the brand signature large bezel that is made of the same material as the case. Among the typical RJ details, the black composite material covered lugs are also included in this model. The most important detail about the case is undoubtedly the surface form designed to refer to the Two-Face character. The right side of the case and bezel is designed with a rough surface by laser processing method, while the left side is satin brushed. The metal part of the case back finished in the same Two-Face concept is a beautiful sample that highlights the brand’s approach for details. The case is equipped with scratch resistant sapphire crystals on both sides and is water resistant to 100 meters / 10 bars.
The dial of the new model consists of two different sections, reflecting the two-face concept as well. The right side of the dial is perforated. On the left side, a smooth surface with black background was prepared. Two-Face’s famous coin is present in the dial as the small second counter.
The model is powered by the Caliber RJ004-M movement manufactured by La Joux-Perret. The hand-wound movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers up to 48 hours of power reserve when fully wound. Skeletonized and equipped with darkened components, the movement is enjoyed through the semi-perforated dial and the sapphire crystal display case back.
RJ (Romain Jerome) Arraw Two-Face (Ref. 1C45S.TTTR.5023.AR.TWF18) comes with a black rubber strap and a black / gray combined calf-leather strap with rubber lining. The strap is secured with titanium deploying buckle clasp, polished and satin-brushed, side plates in black composite and joint in black rubber. Let me add that even the clasp is finished in two different surface patterns.
The model is limited to only 100 pieces with a MSRP of CHF 21,800.
