TAG Heuer, one of the top brands of Swiss watch industry, who was highly appreciated with motorsport-oriented series, introduced the skeleton version of the Carrera Heuer-01 model, which was added to the collection in 2015.

Carrera, which is one of the classic product groups that has been on the market since Pre-TAG period, has provided fresh blood to the collection with a new version in 2015. Carrera Heuer-01, which is perhaps the least relevant version of the model family in terms of being loyal to the original design, has also managed to become a best seller. Carrera Heuer-01 series, one of the high-priced product lines of the brand, offered a new version with a case measuring 43mm in 2016, while the skeleton version of the model family continued with its presence in the 45mm case.
Before the upcoming Baselworld 2017, TAG Heuer has introduced the skeleton dial version of the 43mm Carrera Heuer-01 collection.
The new models, which will be offered in three different versions, black, navy and brown, feature contemporary design details and technical upgraded without compromising the true DNA of the iconic product line.
All models on the new series share the same features with a 43mm diameter satin stainless steel case, perforated display dial, stainless steel markers and silver finish movement. The version-specific details that are noteworthy with the ceramic bezel, which is designed in accordance with the color scheme, are evident in the chapter of the sub-dial at 9 o’clock, in the background color of the TAG Heuer logo and inner flange. The chronograph dial is designed in the classic 6-9-12 lay out with a date display at 3 o’clock.
The new models are powered with the brand’s in-house Caliber Ref. Heuer-01 produced in the Chevenez manufacture. Self-winding movement features a column wheel chronograph module and offers 50 hours power reserve when fully wound.
The new series will be officially launched at Baselworld 2017 and offered with a selection of rubber and leather strap alternatives designed to match the color scheme of the version, as well as a stainless steel bracelet option.
Even though there is no official price announcement yet for new models, the expectations are pointing a figure under the 5000, 00 CHF level.
