Audemars Piguet adds 3 new versions to its Offshore Diver model family, which became a cult in the diver's watch segment.
The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver Collection has a unique place in luxury diver watches with its model-specific details and its presence that sets an example of how an elegant design can become a tool watch. The collection, which has always been followed closely by sports watch enthusiasts, expands with 3 new models today.
The new models are hosted by the bold case with a diameter of 42mm and a height of 14.1mm. Featuring a pair of screw-lock crowns on the sides and sapphire crystals with an anti-reflective coating on both sides, the case can withstand water pressure up to 300 meters. The case, which looks almost the same as the previous versions, stands out with the refined polished/satin finish surfaces and the winding crowns made of black ceramic.
The new models added to the collection are accompanied by Mega Tapisserie patterned dials. The minimized minute scale, the redesigned 5-minute interval markers, the contrasted 0-15 minute segment on the rotating bezel, the repositioned date display, and finally the new AP logo are the updates in the new dials.
The new models are powered by the manufacture Caliber 4308. Based on the movement used in the Code 11.59 models, the 4308 consists of 32 jewels/234 parts, operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers 60 hours of power reserve when fully wound. The movement, which can be viewed through the sapphire crystal display case back, is wound by a full-size rotor made of darkened 22K solid gold.
All models come with rubber straps compatible with the brand's quick strap change system. The rubber straps are accompanied by a stainless steel buckle with the AP logo. The list price for models planned to reach the boutiques by May 2021 is CHF 21,650 (excluding taxes).
