Tudor added a new model to the highly acclaimed Black Bay product line. The new model, which attracts attention with its black ceramic case, is also the first model of the brand with METAS certification.
Tudor Black Bay, one of the most successful members of the Heritage concept, welcomed its newest member through a global launch event held today.
The case of the model, designed in a diameter of 41mm, is produced from matte black ceramic material. Standing out with its micro-sandblasting surface, the case features a black PVD-coated diver bezel and a sapphire crystal on the front side, and a see-thru case back at the rear side. The case, featuring a monoblock middle part and bezel insert made of black ceramic, is waterproof up to 200 meters, with the help of the screw-lock winding crown.
The new model sports a Black Bay style dial featuring the model family classic snow-flake style hands. The slightly curved black dial provides sufficient legibility in almost any environment thanks to its Super-LumiNOVA filled accents. The dial, which does not have a date window, also features a Master Chronometer inscription, which emphasizes the certification of the model.
Tudor Black Bay Ceramic beats with the manufacture Caliber MT5602-1U. METAS Master Chronometer certified automatic movement offers up to 70 hours of power reserve when fully wound. Attracting attention with its blackened tungsten rotor and its darkened bridges decorated with geometric shapes, the movement also provides resistance to magnetic flux up to 15,000 Gauss.
The stylish model comes on a black textile/rubber combination strap. The model, which includes a black NATO strap decorated with a cream color line in the box set, is completed by a black PVD-coated steel clasp. The MSRP is EUR 4,440.
