Guiding modern maritime with the Marine Chronometer devices that it has produced for a long time, the brand continues to carry its heritage to the wrists with sea-themed models. Diver X Skeleton, the new model introduced by the well-established brand within the scope of Watches & Wonders 2021 novelties, is among the most modern and refined examples of this approach. The new model brings together details such as the X concept and skeleton dial, which the brand has frequently emphasized in recent years.

The new model comes in a sporty case with a diameter of 44m. On the front of the case, which has a very interesting presence with its blue PVD coating on stainless steel, there is a unidirectional diver bezel with a Carbonium insert featuring white/orange characters. The case, with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides, is accompanied by a blue PVD coated crown protected by orange rubber guards. The model can withstand 200 meters of water pressure.

The model family is accompanied by a skeleton-style dial hosting a large X figure, which we are familiar with from the brand's latest models. The dial, which stands out with its industrial and modern touches, allows the time to be read quickly and accurately, despite all its complexity, thanks to its wide hour markers and thick hands with blue PVD coating. Orange details suitable for the theme also stand out on the center bridges designed in the form of an X figure.

The Ulysse Nardin Diver X Skeleton comes to life with the manufacture Caliber UN-317. The movement, which is obtained by transforming the hand-wound caliber in other skeleton models into an automatic architecture following the diver's watch concept, includes advanced technology details such as the Carbonium barrel cover as well as the silicon balance and escapement wheels. Working at a frequency of 3Hz (21.600vph), the movement offers an efficient power reserve of 96 hours / 4 days when fully wound.
