The Executive Collection is among the model families that aim to renew the brand’s product group based on the Marine Chronometer concept with different designs. The young collection, which is among the successful representatives of the X Factor concept, which the brand recently brought to the forefront, hosts six different series. Our guest from the modern collection in our review corner is the product group Skeleton X, which draws attention with its models that combine alternative materials and innovative designs with superior Ulysse Nardin artisanship.
The model we have here, Ref. 93713-260-3 / 03, stands out with its blue color theme. Made of ultra-light titanium alloy, the case measures 42mm in diameter. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on the front and back of the case reveal the tastefully crafted skeleton movement to the finest detail. With a three-piece lug design and sleek crown protection elements, the case features a strong and sporty look, with a PVD-coated bezel finished in blue following the concept. The left side of the case sports the individual number plate, an Ulysse Nardin classic, and offers a water resistance rating of 50 meters.
Designed in a skeleton style, the dial also features colored components that match the blue concept. The minute scale placed on the outside of the dial makes it possible to read the time precisely. Horizontal bridges that connect the movement to the case accompany the hour markers in the form of Roman numerals. This detail, which also emphasizes the X-Factor theme, makes reading time effortless and enjoyable with the help of its large designed phosphor-filled arms.
Ulysse Nardin Executive Skeleton X (Ref. 93713-260-3 / 03) comes to life with Caliber UN-371 movement, all designed and manufactured within the brand. The hand-winding movement, which operates at a frequency of 3Hz, can offer up to four days of power reserve thanks to its large barrel. UN-371, which is truly a skeleton movement, also hosts advanced technology elements such as silicon balance spring and gear train made from the same material.
The model comes with a rubber strap crafted in blue. A pin buckle signed by Ulysse Nardin secures the strap, which reinforces the wrist comfort together with the weight advantage of the titanium case.
