Parmigiani Fleurier is one of the most important brands of Swiss luxury watchmaking. While it is of such great importance, there are some reasons why its name is relatively less heard about/known. Reasons are that the brand is not interested in designs that appeal to the taste of the majority of the watch customers, the price tags are relatively high and rarity, one of the inevitable elements of true luxury. In addition to all this, Parmigiani deserves great praise for its elegant and refined models and is adored by a loyal fan base who understands it.
Parmigiani Fleurier, the meaningful gift of Michel Parmigiani, who is known as a hero because he saved the local watch industry, continues to produce complicated and uncomplicated models without compromising quality and other principles. Parmigiani, which did not prefer to display its new models at the Watches & Wonders event held online this year, brought together several new models, including Tonda Tondagraphe Rose Gold Slate.
The new dial design of Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda Tondagraphe Rose Gold Slate (Ref. PFH236-1000200-HA1241) blends modern stylistic design with traditional watchmaking. The dial was prepared with the utmost care and attention to showcase the Tourbillon and chronograph. The brand’s trademark teardrop style lugs are accompanied by a perfect roundness. Distinguished with the color of gunpowder, the dial features the Tourbillon at 6 o’clock, chronograph minute counter at 3 o’clock, small seconds counter at 9 o’clock and, power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock. Markers and skeletonized delta-shaped hands finished in the same color as the case, winding crown and pushers complete the elegant integrity.
The new Tonda Tondagraphe comes in a 43mm diameter 18K rose gold case. Piston-style chronograph pushers are located on both sides of the crown, at 2 and 4 o'clock. The case, which is completed with a sapphire case back, resists water pressure up to 10 meters.
The model beats with the manufacture hand-wound Caliber PF354 that provides a 72-hour power reserve when fully wound. Every area where fine workmanship is applied, such as the Tourbillon bridge, carries the uniqueness given by the craftsmen.
Tonda Tondagraphe Rose Gold Slate is complemented by a Hermés Havana alligator strap and a rose gold buckle. MSRP is 199,000 CHF.
