Ulysse Nardin Freak One Ops

Ulysse Nardin Freak One Ops

Ulysse Nardin's futuristic watch Freak is here with its Ops model with a military color theme.

Freak One Ops, presented to watch lovers 22 years after the introduction of the Freak One model without a dial, crown, hour, and minute hands, stands before us as an example of how far Ulysse Nardin has carried the revolutionary watch theme.

Featuring a 44mm diameter black DLC-coated titanium case and a bezel made of Carbonium, Freak One Ops is designed and produced with a perfect blend of high watchmaking and military theme. Adjustment of the watch, which has a case thickness of 12mm, is carried out by turning the bezel. It is physically impossible for me to talk about a dial structure. There are no hands for the hour and minute. Instead, the bridges and plates that bring the movement together rotate and allow the time to be displayed!

Completed with a sapphire crystal, the watch has a very modest water resistance of only 30 meters. The relatively low water resistance of such a sporty watch is due to its rather complex bezel/back cover/movement connection.

229 components/15 jewels, automatic caliber UN 240 beats at 21600 vibrations per hour, and has a power reserve of 96 hours. Manual winding of the movement is done by turning the case back.

The list price of the model, which has khaki green and black colored "ballistic" rubber or dual-tone rubber strap options and a DLC-coated titanium-ceramic folding buckle, was announced as 67,500 Euros.
